I have to assemble a PCB that has all parts on the bottom side. The coordinates in the P&P file of the parts on the bottom side seem to be the coordinates as seen from the top side, right through the PCB. However, when the bottom side has to be assembled, the PCB is bottom up in the machine, and so the coordinates are wrong. How can I convert the P&P file so I can use it?
easy to solve this task is a job for your PCB CAD system. You need to flip pcb and generate the coordinate files for bottom side again. This is the safe way because you can check in your CAD software.
The PNP machine always look form top side so PNP data needs to get imported in right way.
Our software offers a mirror function for coordinates but if you don't place pnp data origin near the PCB border this will be no easy task because coordinates maybe swapped out of area.
