Our machine quite often just freezes (control panel in the sw grayed out). Requires both SW restart + machine power cycle. We swapped USB hub+cables but no luck. Sometimes, this doesn't happen for weeks, then again annoyingly often. Any tipps for troubleshooting?
Did you update USB to serial driver from download area? Which software version are you using? Check the grounding measure voltage between machine and PC chassis.
