Hello, on my machine a manual homing procedure does only the mechanical homing, it does not use the optical homing. That should be included.
Also, it would be very nice to have a way to tell the software to repeat an optical homing procedure. There is no way to do that now. I often have failures in the optical homing, it tries, but does not end it, the head stand still on the optical homing point then. Since I do not have a way to repeat it I then habe placements offsets.
You need to enable the visual origin in basic settings and adjust the visual origin mark point vision parameters if not done before. Please check chapter 3.16 in manual.
That is enabled. It does a opical homing after a job was finished. But sometimes it fails. I have no way to repeat that optical homing then. When I click on "Reset origin" it does only a mechanical homing.
Here are the settings. And I did a clean startup, machine does a reference and goes to optical home. It tried but did not succeed. Only after the 3rd try it did one.
The dot ist perfect, but it does not work reliable. Oh, and I have no status output or something like that. Where should that be?
It would just be a very nice feature if you please would just add a way to do a manual optical homing in one of your large menus. It is not that difficult. Just a nice option for thos who need it.
It looked like: That's a good information and easy to understand. Remember the X axis can't be negative and your visual origin position is not clever! The machine tried to move in negative X direction which is not possible.
You should move the mark point in X positive and Y negative range and care it need some distance for adjustments. We place this point normally on PCB holder fixed part.
But your basic settings show visual origin is not near 0,0 position
Please adjust the diameter size to 1.2 in basic settings and try again. And if it doesn’t work take a short video and send to me. Whatsapp is possible too.
It is in fact on the same exact position as the factory made point. I only made it better as the factory provded point was a piece of pcb with HAL on it, the contrast was very bad.
Yes but we need a video for the error tracking ther must be a difference in your setup. First coordinate in PCB job out of range there are many possibilties.
Issue is solved. The newer software version use camera position to address parking position instead of head1 position. In this case the parking position was out of range for the top camera and resulting in negative X axis position which caused this error.
