Hello. Assembled 20 panels of boards, 3 boards per panel. Faced placement error on 3 boards in different panels. On 2 boards, a resistor was placed incorrectly. The capacitor was not placed correctly on the 1st board. He schematically showed on the attached picture. Program Version 2.053. Error Place.png - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)
Placement errors depend on wrong parameter settings, the number one are height settings!!! On panels you receive bend surfaces so need to reduce pcb height or component height to compensate this issues. If panel bend too much you need to install a support under PCB to receive an even surface.
I do not understand how the height of a component or pcb affects such improper placement in rare cases. Board thickness 1 mm, component height 0.6 mm. Can you explain in more detail please?
There are height deviations in PCB panel and we need to use the spring in nozzle tip to compensate. A resistor 1206 has physically 0.6mm height but you need to use 0.4mm for height setting to apply force to the part during placement to push in the paste.
Should be easy to understand if part has no adhesion on paste it gets blown away when vacuum gets closed. If you do by hand you need to push parts in the paste too!
I have not seen the installation process itself. But there was paste at the place of proper installation. The height of the part is set so that it is slightly pressed during installation. In one of the cases, it was a coincidence that a part with an incorrect placement was installed in place of another part. And it was installed for sure. This was for Figure 2. It is very likely that for some reason there was a software board rotation of 180 degrees.
