What is the compatibility of different versions of SW and FW?
In another post you write that FW2.03 is already old and you don't recommend to use the current SW2.062.
Upgrading is only possible by replacing the CPU board. So why is there a Help>Update>Firmware Update menu?
I'm not familiar with ARMs, but a cursory glance at the LPC1788, it should be able to be remotely programmed via Bootloader.
I guess I know the reasons, but I won't elaborate here.

I have FW2.05 myself. According to the web, the latest is 2.07.
How long before I find out that I have to order a CPU board because it is no longer compatible?

Only firmware versions prior to V2.05 may cause some communication issues. New versions after V2.05 support special functions for new machines it is not necessary to upgrade a V2.05.

How can I change the firmware of the machine controller from version 2.03 to version 2.05 ?

This function supports only new V3 controller.

Our V2 controller has no bootloader and internal bootloader is connected to different port!

There are not many V2.03 machines in the market, and if there are no communication problems you don't need to change CPU!

All CPU versions are compatible only versions prior V2.05 cause sometimes communication problems.
