-Pick and place machine is pretty accurate machine, like cnc, put coordonate number with reset bouton to make mesure.
-Add small indicator to see in real time the speed mode selected when pick and place run.
-Add timer fonction to evaluate vision detection performance on each part line, and also if this part is discard by vision because is fail to align.
-Report on each part line, the last pickup vacuum.
-Zero correction in software between Z1 and Z2 because height of Z1 versu Z2 is pretty hard to ajust, opto is fix and is impossible to unscrew easily the blade, i put small electrical tape to make one blade longuer and now my Z1 is same height than Z2.
I think some productivity fields would be good. For example when a batch of cards is manufactured, it is important to know the average time it takes for each card. This could be achieved by controlling the time of each card in different fields. When the card is assembled the machine can stop because a feeder fails so that even though it has been consumed it should not be counted as worked by the machine. Therefore, a field of "working time" and "waiting time" should be added.
It would be helpful if the part package list was sorted instead of the random list that currently exists. Also, suggest adding import/export capability for the *.fig configuration files.
-When the feeder are empty, move push head away for better and faster reload for user.
-Auto location correction on feeder, each time the part are align by cameras, put small feedback (1/2 to 1/10 of the correction value) of offset to correct de pickup location and better next pickup.
-reset to zero after X part install, i see some time the step motor slip one or two step after thousand move job.
-If the job are not complet and the user use stop bouton, keep the mark on the next part
-When the job have many board, the software presently see only the first, if i highlight the next board the camera never goes to next board to manual inspection and alignement.
We could name it a bug now, but let's say it would be a feature: Imagine a small part with normal speed requirement on one head/nozzle and a big part with low speed requirement on the other. Whenever the head moves for the fast part, it moves fast. Although the big part, which needs slow speed, is hanging on the other nozzle! Especially on the path from bottom camera to pcb, this foils/destroys the vision control. But you could even lose the big part, while the head hurries to pick up sth else. So the "feature" would be: As soon as you have a part with slow speed requirements hanging on one nozzle, the head should not speed up in any case.

This function is included in V3 software for V2 software you need to sort the PNP list by hand to prevent this problem. I don't think it will be included in V2 in the future because this software has no pnp pre processing. In V3 we sort and assign every part to heads before starting placement.
What de max speed? The original max speed setup in software are catastrophic, now i use 80/105 for max speed and for ultra safe and long job i use 70/95.
ZitatIt would be nice to put this information in the manual...
I will do in next update.
We receive a Christmas software update soon V2.032 is coming.
Here are the new functions - Push feeder head moves to zero position if feeder pickup error occurs - We add vision model selection to vision system now to increase precision for different parts like 1,2,4 side pins or different BGA
Zitat-Zero correction in software between Z1 and Z2 because height of Z1 versus Z2 is pretty hard to adjust, opto is fix and is impossible to unscrew easily the blade, I put small electrical tape to make one blade longer and now my Z1 is same height than Z2.
solved since V2.030
Zitat-When the feeder are empty, move push head away for better and faster reload for user.
added to V2.031
Zitat-Report on each part line, the last pickup vacuum.
It's only shown in status field we can't write to PNP list
