I'm planning to buy a small PnP machine and I'm keeping an eye on the VP-2000S. I really do like, what I see in the description and pics of the VisionPlacer-SW. But there are still some doubts in how to setup the machine, especially regarding the calibration of the positions:
How is the calibration of the feeder pickup positions done? By camera? Automatically or by an assist function? Same question for tray (grid box) or vibration feeder!?
How is the calibration of pcb position done? Will the SW read the fiducial coordinates and search for the exact positions? Do I have to set the head to the vicinity of the position of the 1st fiducial? Can i use the top camera to adjust the position of two chosen parts, if there are no dedicated fiducials on that board?
Is there any user interaction necessary to calibrate the nozzles and/or their position/distance to the top camera?

Every position can be calibrated using the top camera except the vibration feeder and nozzle changer positions.
For PCB alignment you choose the PCB origin or a fiducial using the top camera. Then you check some part positions on your pcb to test if it fits. After this you setup the fiducia positions and store inside he PCB job.
The nozzle to top camera position is calibrated in factory but can be updated in basic settings.
