After pausing a job the "Re-gain" (should be "Resume" in English version) button does not trigger a read of the fiducials if they are active. Most other ways to start a job such as "mount selection" menu item, do trigger fiducial reads.
Paul, if you pause job and restart it is not necessary to check the fiducials again! Because you are not allowed to move the PCB. If you want to do you need to stop the PNP job and restart from line XXX again.
I found this when I was checking a panel with 5 boards. I had deliberately placed the panel offset 2 or 3mm on x axis in clamp. The machine read the fiducials and compensated admirably. I hit the pause button after two placements, and then restarted. The machine "forgot" its previous offset setting and placed the three remaining parts off by 2-3mm.
Conclusion: Either the software is somehow clearing out the "fiducial offset" variable on pause, (maybe it does this always - like on stop?) and should reread fiducials on "Re-gain"?
Please try this yourself with a panel and try to reproduce. As a note to users I would say to avoid using "pause button" if you are using fiducials. Use Stop and then "Start Placing from Here" - which presumably would read fiducials (I have not tested this!!)
I checked the mark detection using software V2.046. Started the pnp job using camera simulation. After second part I paused the placement and restarted again. Everything was fine on the next parts no deviation so it should be ok.
